The 2019 Annual Celebration will be held at the Manners Arms, Knipton NG32 1RH
Each year the Roosevelt Scholarship holds an event to celebrate the achievements of the returning scholars and to hear the plans for the current scholars as they set off on their adventure.Meet our new 2019 Scholars The event provides an opportunity to meet passionate and exciting people in a special surrounding. Each scholar is unique and has a project that could benefit Nottinghamshire in the future.
The event is kindly hosted by past scholar Gareth Bartsch and his family in their family run country house. Manners Arms, Knipton
Guests will include Roosevelt Scholarship Trustees including the Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councillor Rosemary Healy and the Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council Kevin Rostance. The format of the evening is to meet at 7pm to meet fellow guests, taste the delicious canopes and enjoy the surroundings. Presentations are informal and begin at 7.30.
The event is open to all and a £10 per person donation is suggested to support the scholarship to continue to provide opportunities to the young people of Nottinghamshire and to remember the contribution President Franklin Roosevelt made to hastening the end of second World War.
